Product Description

AFDD (arc fault detection device) is a protection appliance to prevent electrical fires. When it detects the fault arc H, it can cut off the power supply within 0.1 seconds, so as to eliminate electrical fires before it outbreaks. A variety of arc pulses in power grid in always exist in our daily life, such as electric hair dryer, electric fans, vacuum cleaners, light dimmer, light lamp, energy-saving lamps, LED lights, and so on. The above mentioned electrical appliances  create interference pulse, while the pulse frequency, and amplitude are close to the arc pulse which creates electrical fire. Sometimes the amplitude  is a couple of times higher than arc pulse, easy to cause malfunction. AFDD is to detect and identify the arc pulse from various of interference pulses which easily creates electrical fire, cut off the power supply, so as to avoid electrical fire.
